Dave’s jovial nature and skill to unravel intricate patterns of behavior are what his clients value most.

Dave is an expert mental health counselor and social worker. He has been helping children, teenagers, adults, and older adults with a variety of issues, including personality conditions such as traumatic experiences, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), emotional regulation issues, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. He is enthusiastic about assisting individuals with longstanding interpersonal and mental health issues, relationship issues, and excessive physical conditions with other techniques to match their mental health needs.

Dave’s own experiences within therapy have enabled him to provide thoughtful advice and guidance, illustrating his understanding of, and empathy toward, the process of therapy. He provides an atmosphere that is non-judgmental and open-minded, providing a supportive, safe, and cooperative environment. Dave fully understands that first-time therapy can be unnerving, so he is mindful of those emotions that can arise during this time. Based off his personal experience and his easygoing disposition, Dave is able to develop a warm and trusting therapeutic rapport with each of his individual patients.

Dave mostly works with trauma-focused therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Schema Therapy. He additionally summons alternative approaches to treat them, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Attachment-Based approaches.

Please Note: Dave is not accepting any new couples counseling clients at this time. Please contact the practice to find a couple’s counselor for your needs.
